It's time for our Easter Simple Session! The session will be on April 2nd, 2011 and is $49 and includes the session and a full resolution image file of your choice. The studio will be set up with the flower background and will have many options including benches, prop bunnies, prop chicks, play eggs, and many more. The prop animals are high quality movie props that closely resemble the real thing. You can also bring your child's Easter basket or other items to make the images more personal. We love seeing photos of kids with bunnies and chicks. However, it has been brought to our attention by one of the photography organizations we are a part of that this is not a good idea. Rabbits and chicks are prey animals and therefore are nervous animals. They can bite children when frightened, but what is worse is the toll it takes on the bunnies. Many bunnies die of heart failure soon after they have been used for photo shoots because of the stress of the shoot. The bunnies that do not die are many times pawned off (or given away in a raffle) to a family that does not realize the responsibility of owning a bunny.
